It was originally set to sell for around 5000 pounds. Triple, closed-matched motor and separate power supply, but supposedly not a three-box affair. I owned the non deluxe version however so the gap would be wider. It was first around almost 2 years ago and hasnt progressed past the first sample which is actually sitting in the audio note lounge in Hove. This could be the first picture of the still-in-development Audio Note TT-3 (half) replacement. Thats the setup I would probably choose going the Audio Note route. Photo Audio Note TT3 turntable left - PSU1(Power Supply Unit 1) to the right - responsible for speed control (Price dependent on PSU chosen £5,950 with PSU1, £8,500(PSU2) and £10,450(PSU3). The TT3 is a LOT better - dramatically better than the TT2. I am using an ARM 3 on the TT3 with IQ3 cartridge. Or something that could be slid back and forth I think a bread basket designed cover would make the most sense - one that goes around the entire thing with a cutout for the cables. Hong Kong is pretty dusty I find - I may buy one of those compressed air cans that computer technicians use to spray the dust off it. I would like a dust cover for this thing though. Since May it has been 98/2 for Vinyl and the 2 has been computer audio while guests are over. The TT2 I used an Arm 1/II instead of an arm 3/II however.Īs the OP noted - it's a time waster - I can say that the TT3 is the best thing I have purchased in audio - I was always a periphery of vinyl user - probably 70/30 CD over vinyl. The TT2 I had, had the same IQ3 cartridge and both were fed into the M3 Phono. Enter the new Audio Note UK TT3 with the PSU1 (Power Supply Unit 1), accompanied by Audio Note UK’s Arm 3/II tone arm and IQ3 moving-magnet cartridge. My TT2 and TT3 were both in the same position set-up by the dealer. The TT3 is basically a state of the art turntable at a very "non" state of the art price IMO.
